KLV Toymaking Booklet    This booklet, dated 1942, is an instructional manual for making toys. Booklets such as this were used in Kinderlandverschickung ("sending the children to the country") camps as part of their instructional classes. The boys and girls in the camps, ages 10 to 14, would produce the toys and learn lessons about woodworking in the process, and the toys themselves eventually were sold or given to young children (they are designed mostly for toddlers) to enjoy.
